I am a veteran and a military spouse who started my career in the Tucson area in 1996. Over the past 22 years, this is my 10th move and 3rd time back to Arizona. My husband, two children and I plan on making Vail our forever home.
I was interested in helping with the local school backpack program. I started volunteering and realized that there were many needs and many ways to help within our community through ReSources.
I love the small town feel here. I love that we know our neighbors and we take care of each other.
My hope is that we can keep our community’s identity while continuing to grow.
Thrift Store Manager
I have had the pleasure of living in Southern Arizona nearly all of my life. I grew up on the East side of Tucson and moved to Vail with my husband and our four children in 2016. I have a degree in Fashion and Retail Merchandising and am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public administration. I love thrifting in my spare time and flipping old furniture into new and improved pieces for my home.
I started as a volunteer in the food bank and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I love helping others especially in my community. I love the that the ReSources board, volunteers, and staff all work so hard to to give back to our community.
I love the small-town feeling that you get living here in Vail. When we moved here we hoped to gain the sense of community that was missing from living in town (Tucson).
I hope that as we continue to grow we can maintain that small-town feeling. Keeping traditions alive and making new ones along the way.
