Liana Hicks
Food Bank Manager
Originally from Jersey City, NJ. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I worked in business administration for over 25 years. I then found a love for food and earned an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. Now food is my second passion after my family. After various volunteering activities, I found out about the manager opportunity at ReSources Vail Food Bank. Since food is one of my passions, the opportunity to put my passion and community together is something I could not refuse.
Leida Robinson
Thrift Store Manager
I’m a proud military brat and wife, which means home has always been everywhere. My husband and I were stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base from 1993–1997, and we loved it so much that when the time came to retire, we knew this was where we belonged. We returned in 2004 with our four children and planted our roots for good. I began my journey at Vail Depot as a volunteer and, in March 2017, became its very first employee. I’ve been here ever since because I found more than a job—I found incredible people I’m proud to call my chosen family.
Regina Tiedemann
ReSources Vail Food Bank – Assistant Manager
I am a mom, a registered nurse, an Army Nurse Corp Veteran and an Army spouse. My family and I moved to Vail in 2011 after 7 years in Europe. Vail quickly became home to us as my husband retired and my 3 children attended the Vail School District. I began my Food Bank journey as a volunteer, helping to coordinate the Weekend Backpack Program and assist with other food bank activities. In 2022, I took on the role of Assistant Food Bank Manager. I am fulfilled by spending my day working with amazing volunteers as well as interact with our community through food distribution and the many community members who donate food and other resources to the Vail Food Bank.
Callie Tippett
Executive director
Callie and her husband moved to Vail in 2002 and have three children. Over the years, Callie has volunteered in multiple capacities in Vail, serving youth and families. In 2016, Callie was elected to the Vail Unified School District Governing Board and continues to serve the community in this position. In January 2023, she stepped into the role of Director of Development & Community Outreach and in August 2024 became Executive Director. Callie earned her degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University – Idaho. This educational focus has cemented Callie’s understanding of healthy family and community functioning and the need for grassroots nonprofit organizations that serve families in crisis and in need.
Valentina Babuin
Thrift Store Manager
Originally from Pordenone, Italy, I moved to Tucson in 2019 for love. I’m a proud mother of three dogs and hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I spent six years as a store manager at a consignment shop, where I developed strong experience in retail operations, fashion, and multimedia. When I learned about the manager position at the Vail Depot, I immediately knew my background would be a perfect fit. I started working at the end of 2025, and from day one I’ve felt right at home, building close relationships with all the amazing volunteers and coworkers.
Laura Gile
Volunteer Coordinator
My husband and I settled in the Corona de Tucson/Vail community 25 years ago. My professional background is in healthcare; I worked as a Newborn ICU RN and later earned a Master’s in Healthcare Innovation, deepening my commitment to compassionate, community-centered work. I first joined ReSources as a Food Bank volunteer, supporting client intake and experiencing firsthand the impact our organization has on the community. In February 2025, I transitioned into the role of Volunteer Coordinator. I am deeply passionate about the mission of ReSources and feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside our wonderful volunteers every day. Their dedication inspires me, and I’m honored to support the people who make our work possible.
