Stock Transfer

It′s an easy 2-step process!

Give a QCD From Your IRA

If you are 70½ years of age, or older, you can give up to $105,000 annually from your IRA directly to a qualified charity or charities without having to pay income taxes on those funds. For married couples, each spouse can make a Qualified Charitable Donation.

Beginning in the year you turn 73, you can also use a QCD to satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD) and reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.

  • To qualify, the gift must come directly from your financial institution to the TSO or other charitable organizations.
  • QCDs are not reported as taxable income and may help donors avoid being pushed into higher income tax brackets and prevent phaseouts of other tax deductions.
  • Your IRA plan administrator can advise and help you initiate the transfer.
Corporate Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are a great way to maximize personal contributions to Great Vail Community ReSources and increase the impact of your gift. Many companies offer a matching gifts program through which they will match employee and/or retiree charitable contributions annually, dollar-for-dollar, up to a certain amount per company policy.

If you work for or are retired from a company that matches employee gifts, please contact your Human Resources Office directly for instructions on how to obtain a matching gift form. Please send it to us, along with your contribution, and we will complete the form for your company’s matching gift. Many companies also offer online options for submitting a matching gift or also offer payroll deduction programs.

Workplace Giving

Gifts of Love

The holidays are an especially challenging time for the Pima County families who turn to ReSources for help to meet their basic needs. As you prepare for your holiday celebration, please consider adopting a family who does not have the resources to buy clothes or gifts. The ReSources holiday Gifts of Love is a wonderful way to bring together friends, neighbors, co-workers, or members of your faith community to celebrate the true spirit of the season. Each year many families have a happier holiday thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

ReSources will choose a family who meets your donation abilities and provide you with their clothing sizes and gift suggestions to make shopping easy. Gifts can be dropped off at the ReSources offices or arrangements can be made for you to take gifts directly to your sponsored family or individual. Gifts of Love operates from November through the end of the holidays in December.
