Hygiene Kits
Hygiene kits provide basic necessities that help maintain hygiene and personal care needs for people experiencing financial struggles or homelessness. You can help by creating and donating hygiene kits to be given out to Vail Food Bank Participants.
Pet Food Drive & Bagging
It is common for families that are struggling with food insecurity to need assistance feeding their beloved pets. You can help by hosting a pet food drive in your organization and holding a group activity to breaking down bulk pet food bags into gallon bags that can be shared with households seeing help with pet food. This is a fund activity for youth organizations as well as businesses.
Food Drives
Resources Vail Food Bank relies on groups, businesses, faith communities, special events and community friends to help us collect food items year-round. ReSources makes it convenient for your group or organization to host a food drive any time of year-round. We can provide some helpful tips, fliers with a list of regular food needs, and bins or boxes to collect the food. Thanks to our donated van, we can schedule a pickup for your food donations, if necessary. Hosting a food drive in the spring and summer is just as important to us as collecting food during the holidays as the need for food exists year-round.

March Madness food drive sort and packing – March
Volunteers help sort, date, pack and move all the food donated through local food drives. These events involve plenty of time on your feet and we also need some volunteers for heavy lifting.
